4 Pillar 4: The Endocannabinoid System The endocannabinoid system is a molecular system responsible for regulating and balancing MANY different processes in the body, including immune response, appetite, metabolism, digestion, chronic pain, inflammation, mood, memory and sleep. A very popular source of exogenous that our body works with is known as CBD. CBD oil is a very popular product. But what not many people know about CBD oil is that it doesn’t absorb well in the body since your body is 60% water. CBD oil only has a 6-8% absorption rate. Pro-tip: Use water-soluble or CBD fluid. It is better absorbed by the body with a 70-90%absorption rate. Eating high-glycemic-index foods can lead to an increased risk for chronic illnesses and certain cancers. Use sugar substitutes like monk fruit, stevia or erythritol. Drink minimally 1/2 your body weight in oz. Lemon water is a natu- rally alkaline drink. Count chemicals, not calories. Health and sickness both cost money. Where would you invest?
